You showed a lot of effort & energy stretching your measurement muscle. We also had a blast!
Now, let’s take it a step further.
Tell us the following information:
1) How far away were you when made it in the basketball hoop? About _____ yards.
2) Convert that measurement into feet or inches. ____ft. / _____in.
3) How many ounces in a cup? ______oz. How many ounces in half a cup? _____ oz
4) Using your “Perimeter Power,” figure out the area (b x h = a) for all shapes measured (Including the CD case, Twizzler, cat, etc….).
5) Lastly, how many yards did you toss the football? ____ yards. Now, convert that to inches. You CAN do it!!

I was about 2 yards away from the basket when I made the basket! I shot the basket from about three yards.
2. we did the measurements in inches and some centameters!
3.Eight ounces are in a cup.
4 ounces are in half of a cup.
4. The cat is 224in. The 3-d world book is
567in. The cd case is 144in. The 3 hole punch is 91in. The card board box is 108cm.
5. We tossed the football 40 yards and 22 yards. So we multiplied 40x22 which eqaled 792in.

4.Our foot balltos is 12 yards and 432 in.
